                                            Korea customer asked how to use PET transparent Impact modifier  ? 

A : Is this product (PET transparent Impact Modifier) suitable for BOPET /APET application?

B:  YES, AS long as its PET ,all could use our A-868 impact modifier , and it wont effect the PET original transparency !

A: Is this product (PET transparent Impact Modifier)content any rubber type substrate?

B:  NO,  it not contains rubber type substance . mainly is olefin and esters.

A: Is there any special condition for drying?

B:  ARGIOPE PET impact modifier dont have special drying conditions , but we suggest best predrying condition for PET+PET impact modifier mixture :  dry 8hours at 165c at least .  to remove the moisture as much as possible. because moisture will bring easily broken problem for PET products . 

A : What extrusion temperature is recommended?

B:   Normally PET extrusion temperature is around 280c right? our impact modifier not effect the extrusion temperature just keep it regular as your PET products requests.  our A-868 PET impact Modifier melting point is 250c around . 

A: Is there any special extrusion system required? (Like twin screw extrusion)

B:   No need , our PET impact modifiers dont have such requirement.  go ahead with your regular production facility injection or extrusion or blowing or twin or single screw all workable. 

A: Is it possible to reduce the Intrinsic viscosity (IV) of material?

B:   Normally by adding our PET impact modifier ,it will increase the viscosity little bit .
