To improve the thermal deformation temperature of the resin, the most commonly used method is to add a good compatible high temperature resin, inorganic filler or glass fiber, and modify the resin. while one of the most direct and effective methods is to add 5%-40% glass fiber , hereby the thermal deformation temperature can be increased a lot maximum maybe hundres of degree , which is widely used in automotive lamp holders, LED lamp holders, by this way , Not only the heat resistance temperature is high, and heat conduction is fast, but also the product size is stable and not easy to get deformation. However, these methods will sacrifice the transparent properties of transparent materials and strictly limit their use and promotion.
ARGIOPE ® A-8688 PET high transparent heat resistant masterbatch is kind of organic modification of PET, which can improve the thermal deformation temperature of PET resin while no bad effect on transparency of the PET resin, and has almost no impact on its overal mechanical properties. A-8688 Heat Resistant Agent Dosage is 15-25%, and the Thermal Deformation Temperature can be increased from the original 60 degrees to more than 80 degrees.
