ARGIOPE® A-6898 PET Heat Stabilizer MB Description 

    Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) products generally require heat resistance above 80°C not because they melt at that temperature (their actual melting point is as high as 250°C), but because 80°C is the critical point of their "glass transition temperature (Tg)". Once this temperature is exceeded, PET transitions from a rigid glassy state to a highly elastic state, causing the bottle to soften, deform, and lose its sealing capability, thereby failing to meet the safety requirements for filling, transportation, and use.

    Therefore Jindaquan Group launched the ARGIOPE® A-6898 PET Heat Stabilizer masterbatch to satisfy PET applications like food container ,dish ,plate ,sheets which have higher heat distortion termperature like 85℃ and above .

    ARGIOPE® A-6898 PET Heat distortion stabilizer masterbatch could help PET final products to resist 85℃ to 150℃ by adding different dosage , the higher dosage added the high temperature could resist .

1) For PET wall thickness of 3.2mm by adding 10-20% A -6898 PET heat stabilizer could resist 85°C to 120°C, by adding 30% A-6898 could resist 150°C

the thinner the PET wall thickness the higher dosage need to add to reach same heat distortion temperature .
